Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Junior Cloud Network Administrator to work at Ft. Bragg, NC. A United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
• Work is performed under supervision.
• Typical duties include:
  • Administering the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems.
  • Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam control measures.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

• 0- 3 years of relevant experience.
• Network administrators need solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network 41 protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations.
• The position requires strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.
• In addition, the Government may require Candidates to be on call 24/7 in case of network failures or emergencies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
