Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work in the San Antonio, TX area. This is an upcoming opportunity supporting the United States Army Installation Management Command with a projected start date of March 2024. A United States Citizenship, an active Secret DoD Security Clearance, and a current favorable T3 background investigation are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) expertise, planning, support, and documentation.
• Translate security requirements into actionable plans, instructions, and implementations.
• Implement and analyze security controls.
• Provide technical expertise in implementing and enforcing security doctrines and policies.
• Conduct application, system, and network vulnerability scanning and risk remediation.
• Collaborate with internal, Army, and external stakeholders on security policy and governance.
• Track and maintain all requirements for obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate and Authority to Connect as appropriate for all organization-managed systems.
• Remediate and manage risks and vulnerabilities and create and maintain the system Plan of Action and Milestones.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

• 5 years of RMF experience in a complex network and systems environment comprising large numbers of users and diverse systems, applications, and technologies.
• Experience performing event logging and analysis for incident response and investigation.
• Digital forensics experience.
• Public key infrastructure experience.
• Hardware device experience.
• Cloud network experience.

Education:

• High School Diploma.
• Relevant college degree strongly preferred.

Certifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Favorable T3 background investigation is required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
