Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking an experienced Cyber Operations SME to work at Lackland AFB. A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret SCI – Willing to take Polygraph is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site, day-to-day assistance with analysis of current AF OCO platform, access/connectivity, and tool infrastructures to draft operational requirements, evaluate technical solution proposal(s) and provide integration recommendations/options regarding current and future technologies.
  • Familiar with current Air Force and United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Cyber needs submission processes.
  • Interface with operational units, senior decision makers, developers, acquisition personnel, and the group technical director to compile, coordinated, and submit requirements as well as oversee the development of and transition to operations.
  • Identify and integrate applicable information assurance processes and its applicability to the OCO infrastructure protection mechanisms and related defensive cyberspace mechanisms and its applicability to the OCO infrastructure protection requirements.
  • Submit and track requirements for OCO platforms, access and/or tools to satisfy mission needs.
  • Review and provide comments on operational policies, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), directives, and Rules of Engagement (ROE) for exercise support. Documents to be reviewed include Higher Headquarters (HHQ) operational policies, directives, and ROE.
  • Provide Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) for reviews when comments or corrections are required.
  • Post CRMs in the appropriate electronic Government approved shared location and in the Government furnished format.
  • Report status of required documents in accordance with (IAW) the contract.
  • Provide operational and strategic support for projects and efforts to modernize, improve, and sustain units’ mission and objectives.
  • Review and analyze requirement documents, such as CONOPS and Operating Concepts, and report analysis to the Government.
  • Provide written documentation and briefings after technical forums.
  • Maintain electronic records in an appropriate electronic Government approved shared location.
  • Report status of required documents IAW Contract Deliverables will include engineering designs, project objectives and milestone (POAM) plans, briefing, trip reports, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

  • 7 years’ experience with Cyber planning and operations subject matter expertise
  • Task-oriented
  • Expert time management skills

Education

  • Equivalent combination of cyberspace exercise planning and intelligence analysis support.

Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret SCI – Willing to take Polygraph
  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCS Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
