RC704461 Sr Global Vehicle Technician / DOT / CDL (Mechanic) (Open)Provides timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment which requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation.

Documents work and maintains adequate inventory using FedEx computer systems. Ensures work is in accordance with OSHA and DOT standards.

• Current starting wage of $31.24 per hour - NOT flat / commission pay rate.
• Three-year scheduled progression to top of range, currently $41.11 per hour.
• A.S.E. Master Certification pay of an additional $5.75 per hour.

Job Requirement

Must have 4 years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.

• High school diploma / GED.
• Possession of applicable licenses and automotive-related vocational training preferred.
• ASE Master certification preferred.

Medical exam required. FMCSA-covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.
