To plan, coordinate, integrate, track, and support departmental projects and Programs. To assess financial effectiveness of projects and programs to Determine the feasibility and benefits of implementation which also may Include developing performance indicators. To develop and coordinate Critical and contingency plans for implementation of projects and programs. Administers and assigns resources associated with the department programs and projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage a team to execute upon key program management deliverables including:
  • Identifies and tracks value delivery, milestones, and key program health.
  • Develops and manages communications and organizational change management presentations for a senior leadership audience.
  • Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives; works on strategic programs that drive internal optimization of the FedEx network.
  • Interfaces with third party vendors
  • Manages risk assessment and internal control processes specific to strategic program infrastructure and value delivery.
  • Develops business justifications for operational capability sequencing
  • Travel Required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ensures Dataworks strategic programs flow and permeate through to execution with line of sight and connectivity across domains and pillars.
  • As work progresses across the Dataworks operating model, the manager will lead the Program Management function to evaluate alignment to the strategy and ensure focus on the highest priority initiatives that move our business forward and drive to outcomes.
  • You have demonstrated experience driving enterprise-wide projects and a proven track record of successfully leading a portfolio of complex projects.
  • You have the ability to develop frameworks and processes that support executive level decision-making, identification and on-going measurement of metrics that matter, and best-in class project due-diligence from pressure testing the original hypothesis to assessing the 360 investment costs/opportunity costs associated with potential projects.
  • You're a proven leader who drives prioritization of projects, keeping all stakeholders focused on driving results that are tied to the company's strategic goals.
  • You are an excellent communicator and forward-thinker that uses innovative solutions to accelerate business performance.
  • Proven track record of driving company value from program or project leadership, including overseeing the budgeting process and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices and methodologies that support transformation programs, governance, and change management, including establishing centers and standards of excellence.
  • Strong executive presence, collaboration, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, and influence business decisions using appropriate, fact-based information synthesized from structured and unstructured data and information.
  • Own program strategy for end-to-end delivery using product development process lifecycles and workflows
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional team leaders (Product, Go-to Market, Platform, Engineering)
  • Review portfolio monthly with stakeholders and drive decisions on prioritization, investments, and resources.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
    Communicate project status, issues, and risks to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize talent management and elevate talent development by advancing the team, hiring strong talent, and fostering knowledge diversity to accelerate the expansion and growth of the business.
  • PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure and have lead hardware/software projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in a related quantitative discipline.
  • Six (6) years experience in program management or project management with demonstrated strong understanding of business and financial planning functions.
  • Experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-functional project teams.
  • Strong human relations, organizational / time management, project management, and software development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present and communicate with impact to executive audiences.
Domicile Information
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Monthly Salary: $9,280.00 - $13,920.00
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
