- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic communications plans in support of business areas across multiple platforms.
- Translate moderately complex subject matter into simple, well-understood messages focused on the Bank’s business, people, and community objectives.
- Assist with writing articles and covering events for internal and external publications and channels.
- Develop relationships with internal business leaders and other internal and/or external stakeholders as needed.
- Provide assistance with the development of multi-media and web communications to ensure business needs and client objectives are met.
- Leverage new mediums and tools to enhance internal/external communications opportunities.
- May have critical essential role in supporting contingency and crisis communications planning and execution.
- May provide support to cross-functional team initiatives involving development of creative communication solutions.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; prudent judgment, and decision-making ability, and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Highly proficient in oral and written communication with the ability to provide clear and concise information to stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
- Fundamental knowledge of communications platforms, including digital and social media
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with various other online applications, as needed for the role.

- The hiring range of the Communicator - Associate is $53,400 – $66,700 annually.
- Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.

- The Fifth District provides a hybrid work environment. This position is required to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
