Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

Position Type: Fully Remote or Hybrid optional

Applicant Region: Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana

Travel: Travel 25% of the time with the possibility of some additional travel for special projects. Travel will be to our three locations in Cincinnati, OH, Hodgensville, KY, and Grantsville, MD with most travel being to the OH and KY sites. (Company paid travel)

Position Summary:

The D365 WMS Systems Administrator analyzes, designs, implements, and supports all business processes associated with the D365 WMS system. The D365 WMS Systems Administrator is responsible for working with business teams, technical teams, and vendor teams to support the daily operations of the D365 WMS system. The D365 WMS Systems Administrator acts as a functional/technical resource available to translate business requirements into functional procedures within the D365 system. This is a “hands-on” position that requires analytical thinking and practical application of technology.

Responsibilities:

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day management of D365 WMS environment.
  • Assisting with trouble tickets associated to the use of the system.
  • Working with business leaders to identify areas where the WMS can enhance their efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing plans to address business challenges by implementing new or modified WMS functionality.
  • Developing and assisting with end-user training
  • Ability to work with project management to deliver project deliverables.
  • Scoping change requests and working with internal and external developers to execute changes.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams. 
  • Testing of new features and regression testing when service updates are deployed.
  • Limited, regional travel is required to support Distribution Centers in Kentucky, Maryland, and Ohio.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Departmental Responsibilities:

The Information Technology department at Fechheimer operates as a team. As such, in addition to the responsibilities specific to your job title, the following general responsibilities also pertain to this position:

  • Our top goal is to always meet the needs of our clients, both internal and external, in a professional and timely manner and with the highest quality. It is the responsibility of all of the IT staff to assist and help other members of IT with issues, work and questions they may have pertaining to their current task load.
  • In addition to tasks related specifically to this job title, IT staff will from time to time be given additional responsibilities, tasks and projects within the Information Technology Department and Fechheimer. It is the responsibility of the individual to perform all assigned tasks and projects in a professional manner and to the best of their abilities.
  • As a member of the Information Technology team, IT staff are required to take part in technical and business discussions, share ideas, and to provide feedback with the goals of providing knowledge transfer and the continual improvement of the Information Technology Department.
  • Communication is critical to the success of the Information Technology Department. As such, it is the responsibility of all IT staff to report and communicate to your supervisor, any issues, concerns, or suggestions, or other information that may have an effect on the department. Included, but not limited to are the following areas:
    • Priorities, job responsibilities or timelines
    • Specific projects
    • Team member dynamics or issues
    • Anything that may negatively impact your ability to perform your tasks, either short-term or long-term.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in the Microsoft ERP stack (Dynamics 2009 -> D365)
  • Degree in Information Systems or like specialty strongly desired.
  • Sufficient business experience to be able to translate a client’s requirements into meaningful business requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing tools and techniques
  • Experience with MS Windows, Visual Studio environments.
  • Experience managing work through Microsoft DevOps
  • Experience in manufacturing and distribution environments
  • Experience with MS Azure hosting environment
  • Ability to write simple SQL statements for data extraction and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with ISVs that support ERP capabilities. Examples: Data Masons (EDI), Tools Group SO99 (Forecasting), Atlas (Financial Reporting).
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
