Description

Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Location:  Cincinnati Greater Northern Kentucky International Airport, Erlanger Kentucky

The Maintenance Planner assists the Maintenance department in providing the necessary maintenance resources and record keeping that is required to increase plant productivity. Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes. Preparation of reports, metrics, and other tracking tools will allow this employee to succeed.

Job Duties:

  • Review, analyze, print, and organize customer work packages for the maintenance department.
  • Liaise with customers regarding any changes or corrections to work packages.
  • Prepare daily non-Routine status reports.
  • Create Non-Routine customer work cards.
  • Create parts and tooling requisitions as required.
  • Close all task cards and non-routines in customers’ M&E system.
  • Maintain the repair station premises in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Director of Maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Must have Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a Current Valid Driver’s License. 
  • Frequently be required to stand, walk, continually utilize hand, and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. 
  • Awareness that he/she will be working near and around moving mechanical parts, around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals and exposure to loud noises.
  • Ability to operate equipment and read technical information.
  • Exposure to weather conditions outside as well as non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prefer a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Prefer 2 to 5 years of experience working in the aviation maintenance area.
