FDRsafety is seeking an HSE Advisor for a large client within the energy industry near Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that will offer a generous base salary, a lucrative benefits package, bonus potential, and substantial opportunities for growth. This individual will be responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, and supervising all field project-related safety programs and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a multi-site, national operation in a safety/HSE role (experience with high-risk activities in mining/resources or energy/utility areas preferred).
Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (any Board of Certified Safety Professionals accreditation is preferred).
Current First Aid Certification and CPR certification (example: American heart Association or Red Cross).
Intermediate ability with MS Office – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and delivering HSE training and assessment.
Strong understanding of current OSHA legislation, standards, codes and industry practices.
Experience leading incident investigations using ICAM or a similar investigation methodology.
Demonstrated experience in HSE compliance management and monitoring and qualified as a lead Safety or HSE Auditor (preferred).
Demonstrated understanding of HSE processes, including Permit to Work, Lock Out Tag Out, Incident Investigation, Contractor HSE Management, Emergency Response, Risk Management and Training and Competency.
Current and clean Drivers Licence essential.
