FCP Euro is hiring a Custodian to join our team in the Reliability Maintenance Engineering department. As the Custodian, you'll be the key player in maintaining the cleanliness of our property, from bustling office spaces to the heart of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include managing janitorial supplies, coordinating repairs with vendors, and ensuring safety compliance under the guidance of our RME Assistant Manager. Responsibilities and Duties

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the impeccable cleanliness and operational integrity of FCP Euro's premises, encompassing office areas, kitchens, meeting rooms, docks, and distribution center walkways.
• Inventory Management: Methodically oversee the procurement and inventory control of janitorial supplies and consumables, optimizing stock levels and adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Vendor Liaison: Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with facility service vendors, coordinating repairs and scheduled maintenance activities to uphold facility standards.
• Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough safety inspections and adhere to regulatory standards, proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues and vendors, while also providing clear and concise communication regarding maintenance activities.
• Detail-Oriented Execution: Execute tasks with precision and attention to detail, exhibiting reliability, thoroughness, and a commitment to excellence in all endeavors.
• Initiative and Autonomy: Take initiative in task completion and exhibit self-directed work ethic, requiring minimal supervision while consistently achieving high-quality results.
• Technical Proficiency: Possess mechanical aptitude and proficiency in utilizing maintenance management software or documentation systems to streamline facility maintenance operations.
• Compliance and Safety Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to protocols and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. 

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven track record in custodial or facility maintenance roles, preferably within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness and precision in all tasks performed.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent work hours and output, reliably executing assigned duties.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively interacting with colleagues and external vendors.
• Energetic self-starter with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks autonomously.
• Openness to new ideas and willingness to collaborate with peers, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
• Aptitude for mechanical tasks and equipment troubleshooting, facilitating efficient maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software or documentation systems, enhancing efficiency in inventory management and task tracking.
• Understanding of and experience working in accordance with health and safety standards and regulations, prioritizing the well-being of employees and visitors.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to address facility maintenance challenges.

Compensation

• $18.00/hr and up, depending on prior experience
