FCHC Behavioral Health Outpatient

Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly

Primarily 1st shift 

Hours are flexible, with some evenings

Responsible for providing direct clinical services including diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and individualized treatment planning for adults in an outpatient mental health treatment program. Develops an empathic and comforting environment for patients to encourage rapport, while remaining professional and attuned to ethical behavior. Maintains appropriate documentation for services provided in an accurate and timely manner using an electronic health record. Routinely monitors patient cases, updates treatment plans as appropriate, and completes discharge summaries as needed. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including doctors and nurse practitioners to provide seamless continuity of care to shared patients.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a mental health field (social work, counseling, marriage and family) is required. Must be independently licensed and have at least one year experience in the mental health field prior to working in the program. Previous experience in using Electronic Health Record software is beneficial.
