POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Napoleon’s Bakery Plant Manager and/or manager on duty, this position assist with pastry dough production in the facilities “Sheeting Room” 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Works with Pastry Production team to assist in production and order fulfillment 

2. Performs various tasks such as arranging donut dough on screens to prepare for frying, packaging of frozen items, arranging and freezing of various pastries 

3. Ensures proper labeling and rotating of items 

4. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation practices and standards at all time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Scheduling:

• Flexible, available any shift, any day

Physical Ability:

• Able to lift 25 to 50 pounds

• Able to stand for the entire shift

Mental Ability:

• Able to do simple math (add, subtract, multiply and do simple fractions)

• Follows direction of management team 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening

• Must also have passed a TB test Dated/Issued within 12 months of date of hire OR Dated/Issued at the age of 16 or older.

Environmental Conditions:

• Able to work in a hot/cold environment

• There are both ambient temperatures and A/C rooms. The ambient temperature can reach at times in the 100’s and the A/C rooms go as low as 50 degrees

• There are also walk-in chills and freezers where temperatures go as low as minus 10 degrees

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Previous bakery experience and cake decorating skills preferred
