Job Summary
The City of Fort CollinsStreets Department is looking for a Truck Driver/Laborer to work on ourPatching and Paving Crews. Our Operators perform work related today-to-day operations and functions of the Streets Departments including minorand major construction of streets and alleys; snow and ice removal; andcrushing recycling operations. Operators maintain and operate equipment whichmay include front-end loader, bulldozer, skid steer, dump truck, backhoe,tractor, street sweeper, and paving equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES: Thefollowing duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functionsof this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
-Operates and maintains equipment such as tractor, small front-end loader, sweeper, dump truck, or plow truck.
-May operate heavy equipment.
-May patch broken or eroded pavement; remove debris from streets; perform snow removal.
-May input daily work data into a computer.
-May perform general building maintenance.
-May train other operators or hourly employees when needed.
SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES:
This position isnot responsible for the daily supervision of regular City employees.
