This new role will work collaboratively on key projects alongside internal teammates & stakeholders for current IT platform investments and future strategic solutions. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of application enhancements for the Guidewire Center Systems. This role supports production deployments and automation as well as actively managing and monitoring resources for job control and production support. The selected candidate will provide input on application design. The position allows for hybrid work schedule of three days per week from one of our offices Sarasota or Lake Mary, FL, Lawrenceville, GA, or Richardson, TX and the remaining two days working remote.

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related [NOTE: Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education/exams.]
• Minimum three years of experience with Guidewire– Claim Center (Configuration or Integration) development; additional experience is a plus
• Solid experience with Java and/or open source framework development experience
• Solid experience with Oracle DB, MS Sql Server, MySQL, or other database technology
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including software development standards, peer reviews, build processes, testing and support

• Certification in Guidewire Configuration or Integration.
• Experience in commercial Property and Casualty Insurance.
