FCC Indiana located in Portland, IN currently has openings for Die Technician on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

What you will do:

• Repair and maintain extrusion, blanking, and stamping dies to ensure they are ready for production.
• Follow schedule of preventative maintenance on all dies
• Efficiently use hand tools to repair dies correctly
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Accurate recording of data on dies

Skills:

• Must have mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of metric system
• Ability to read blueprints and computer literacy.
• Strong math skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Comfortable working in both an individual and team setting
• General machining knowledge is preferred

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
• 3rd Shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.)
• Monday-Friday
• 8 hour shift
• Overtime as required
