POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Material Service/ Parts Control Team Leader, the position will support the parts control department, specific responsibilities include shipping, receiving, inventory control, and supporting production for the FCC (North Carolina) - Paper Plant, LLC. The position will be responsible for providing raw materials to production in FIFO, moving raw materials in the auto warehouse, shipping to customers, shipping hazardous waste materials, receiving raw material including resins, methanol, and acetone, receiving MRO items, maintaining FIFO when shipping, 5S, tracking FIFO violations for raw material, and driving a forklift. The candidate must be self-motivated. The candidate must be able to work with all levels of the organization to insure Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery. The position will work with production and help identify and implement process improvement ideas. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The position is first shift, but some overtime is required. Some business travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
AA Degree in business or related field or 3 years of manufacturing experience inventory control and shipping/receiving experience
Forklift experience is preferred
Experience in a company that supplies the Automotive Industry would be helpful
Demonstrated leadership skills
Must be computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Office products
Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy and the ability to work in a Team Environment
