Position Summary:

This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the site by providing support to all route members in all aspects of the daily operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are properly serviced.
  • Monitors service, safety and production of all drivers on the assigned route.
  • Manages driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency.
  • Responsible for resolving issues with Driver errors and missed customer pickups.
  • Oversees driver compliance with regulatory agency and company training.
  • Coordinates with Safety and HR teams for driver drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements.
  • Conducts appropriate investigations for all incidents and injuries appropriately suggesting areas of improvement and training.
  • Maintains a relationship with the dispatch team regarding customer service and any foreseeable issues.
  • Works with the Operational and HR teams to resolve any employee relation concerns.
  • Manages all appropriate documentation for the Department of Transportation compliance.
  • Manages and audits all daily driver documentation and data to include time and attendance, service tickets, and driver hours.
  • Promotes a union free workplace as appropriate.
  • Analyzes daily route and suggests areas of improvement to the Operation Management team.

Qualifications


Education:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management is an asset.

Experience and Competencies:

  • Experience in the waste industry with DOT regulated positions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Prompt, professional, and dependable demeanor.
