Position Summary:

The IT Specialist position is responsible for assisting all FCC employees by providing support with processes, tools, and different products.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk support and troubleshooting for complex online and off-line issues
  • Process new profile requests and set up new user accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to investigate issues quickly and efficiently
  • Manage inventory as well as retrieval and shipment of equipment
  • Embrace new technology and ways of working that promote flexibility to adjust quickly to shifting needs of the business
  • Assist with installation of corporate applications & systems
  • Utilize Microsoft SharePoint and Teams to develop solutions to optimize business processes
  • Troubleshoot employee’s hardware issues
  • Assisting with network administration tasks
  • Troubleshoot employee’s PC hardware issues
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications


Experience and Competencies:

  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to expert administration and implementation
  • Willingness and proficiency in multi-tasking a variety of tasks
  • Strong ability to work closely with team members and have clear communication
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills with the ability to train and easily collaborate with diverse audiences
  • Prior involvement with project management processes is a plus
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
  • CompTIA A or CompTIA Network certification preferred
  • Will need to travel up to 40%

  • Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate workable solutions, and make necessary recommendations
  • State traveling availability.
