FC Greater Boston Bolts is Hiring a Development and Fundraising Coordinator Near Newton, MA

We are seeking a talented and passionate Development and Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts, managing donor relations, alumni relations and overseeing communications strategies to enhance our organization's visibility and impact.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the organization's programs and initiatives.

· Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and funding organizations.

· Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.

· Manage donor communications, including acknowledgment letters, newsletters, and personalized updates.

· Research and identify new funding opportunities, grant prospects, and strategic partnerships.

· Collaborate with the leadership team to create compelling grant proposals and sponsorship packages.

· Partner with Marketing Manager and create content for the organization's communications channels, including website, social media, and email newsletters.

· Create content, including articles, press releases, and marketing materials, to promote the organization's mission and activities.

· Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

· Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, representing our mission and values to the public and media outlets.

· Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to fundraising and communications.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

· Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or related field, with a successful track record of securing donations and grants.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute fundraising and communications plans.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, donor management software, and social media platforms.

· Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

· Passion for soccer and a commitment to the organization's mission of youth development and community engagement.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and meetings.
