Assistant Fayette County Attorney: Fayette County, Iowa.

The Fayette County Attorney’s Office, Fayette County Iowa is seeking qualified attorney applicants for an Assistant Fayette County Attorney position starting immediately. This position is open until filled. The position answers directly to the Fayette County Attorney and is an at will position.

• Designated currently as “part-time”. The successful applicant may at their discretion take private clients in the practice area(s) of their choosing. An assistant would be available if needed. Compensation to the assistant would be the responsibility of the applicant.
• Office space is provided.
• Two full time assistants.
• Responsible for prosecution of all felonies and misdemeanor offences as assigned by the Fayette County Attorney.
• Responsible for the prosecution of juvenile CINA petitions and juvenile delinquencies as assigned by the Fayette County Attorney.
• Health/Vision/Dental group insurance through Fayette County.
• IPERS qualified position. (Guaranteed pension for vested members.)
• Frequent training opportunities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
