Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a PACU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe recovery of patients following surgery. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and manage post-operative symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with patient transfers to other units or facilities as needed

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NM
- Minimum of 2 ears of experience in PACU or critical care nursing
- Proficient in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of post-operative recovery processes and protocols
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and regulations is preferred
- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center is a plus
- Health coaching or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial
- Knowledge of laboratory standards and infection control practice

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,200.00 per week
