Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments to patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on healthcare plans
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with medical procedures as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Previous experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of sonography, CT, and catheter care
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques
- Proficiency in using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Ability to manage pain effectively
- Experience working with children in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of emergency room procedures and vital sign monitoring
