Overview:

We are seeking a Full-time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Duties:

- Assist dentists during procedures as an EFDA
- Prepare patients for dental treatment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Manage medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting or hygiene program
- Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Understanding of dental anatomy and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
