Schedule: Full-time, Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay: Competitive salary up to $155,000 based on education and experience, plus a full benefits package

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Nursing Director of Educational Services directs corporate and departmental training programs' design, planning, and implementation and monitors and evaluates their effectiveness. This role will define operating objectives and training plans to meet the Organization’s short—and long-term goals and actively search for, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate and enhance staff performance. The Nursing Director of Educational Services will also provide guidance to the Education/Staff Development Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Registered Nurse in good standing to practice in New York State

-BSN required; MSN preferred

-Minimum 5 years of experience as a high-level training manager

-Minimum 3 years of experience managing personnel

-Familiarity with the methods and principles for designing programs to teach, train, and instruct both groups and individuals, including the means of assessing the effects of training.

-Experience in or knowledge of recruitment and selection of personnel, labor relations, negotiation, training, and personnel information systems.

-Knowledge of home care, PACE, or other Healthcare-related programs required
