Schedule: Full-time nights with rotating weekend

The ICU RN will be responsible for the following duties:
- Perform and oversee care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursing process
- Possess strong assessment and clinical skills to provide care for patients with a multitude of disorders to include: Heart Failure, Respiratory distress, Sepsis, Multisystem Organ Failure, Neurosurgical Procedures, Invasive Cardiac Procedures, Trauma, MI, Strokes and other patients meeting ICU admissions criteria
- Serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Excel at interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking and decision making
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred
- An active RN license in KS/compact
- Minimum 6 months – 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Open to candidates with strong background in long-term care/skilled nursing looking to transition into acute care!
