Title: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital – Cath Lab
Location: Columbia, MO
Schedule: Full-time, days 4x10 between Mon-Fri
Pay: Competitive based on experience, plus full benefits package
The Cath Lab RN is primarily responsible for the following duties:
- Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care
- Educate patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration; promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
- Evaluate patient's response and modifies plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.
- Participate in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and in professional development and lifelong learning.
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- RN license in MO/compact
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- 1 year of Critical care and/or Cath lab experience preferred
