Location: Lexington, KY
Schedule: Full-time, days
Pay: Competitive based on education and experience, full benefits package
Sign-on bonus: $5K paid out at 6-month, 9-month, and 1-year mark

The Mental Health Therapist duties to include but not limited to:

• Comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to function or maintain in the community
• Assist law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and emergency detentions
• Assign persons in need of treatment to the appropriate outpatient program and coordinates inpatient admissions through the medical staff
• Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the organizations community relations program and continuous quality improvement activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in a mental health related field (Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or similar)
• CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification (such as BLS, CPI, etc.)
• Previous clinical experience in assessment and evaluation preferred
