Title: Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehab
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
Location: Newton, KS
Schedule:: Full time, Nights, 3 on 4 off, self-schedule
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience plus a full benefits package and up to 55% shift differentials!
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, considering the patient's age, mental status, ethnicity, and physical condition.
- Administers medications, including IVs in a safe manner and according to the five rights of medication administration.
- Maintains an accurate and thorough medical record for all assigned patients.
- Consistently utilizes standard precautions appropriately
- Maintains full responsibility and provides care for patients as assigned
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas. Compact license is acceptable.
- Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
- Recommended Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support per unit discretion.
- Associate degree (ADN) from an accredited school or nursing or diploma in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred;
