Location: Prairie Village, KS
Schedule: Full-time Mon-Fri day shift with as-need weekend coverage

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the following duties:

• Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assume the responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the DON.
• Conduct the nursing process – assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation – under the scope of the State’s Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from accredited nursing school
• Must be RN licensed in KS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing supervisor experience required
• 5 years in long-term or acute healthcare preferred
