We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to join our summer internship program for 8 weeks in Austin, Texas. As an intern with us, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside your dedicated mentor and building connections with various other team members.

As an Integrated Marketing and Brand Operations Intern, you will work on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives under the Sr. Manager of Marketing and Brand Operations. The work will support the effectiveness of the marketing department in a key moment in the calendar year as we prepare for our biggest annual awareness and customer acquisition campaign. The strategic initiatives will consist primarily of analysis the Marketing team will use for quarterly planning, as well as supporting H-E-B integrated marketing efforts as needed. The operational initiatives will equip the Marketing team to work as effectively as possible.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and optimize quarterly planning materials
• Maintain integrated marketing status reports
• Analyze past integrated marketing campaigns
• Conduct competitive analysis to influence future integrated marketing campaigns
• Document and maintain processes in the marketing Asana system
• Create a marketing wiki to house best practices, processes, key documentation, and operating mechanisms 

• This role can help springboard your career in quality operations and allow you to grow in many different directions. You do not need to have formal training, but we will ask you to speak about how your background has prepared you for the work you’ll be doing as a member of the Operations team. Translatable backgrounds that might be successful include marketing, advertising, brand strategy, project management, communication, or a similar mix of training and experience that you think will make you successful on the Marketing team.

• You are self-motivated, resourceful, and able to execute assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
• You are curious, thorough, and are eager to dive into the details, ask questions, and solve problems
• You have strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
• You can build rapport and work collaboratively with others on a team
