We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to join our summer internship program for 8 weeks in Austin, Texas. As an intern with us, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside your dedicated mentor and building connections with various other team members.

As a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Intern, you will expand your knowledge of people operations, DEIB, and talent development. You will work alongside a skilled team to develop engaging and inclusive programs and experiences for all team members.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a core DEIB internship project to completion 
• Partner with employee resources groups (ERGs) 
• Support various event planning initiatives across the People Operations team 
• Collaborate with members of the Talent and Experience team to elevate and revamp team member recognition initiatives 
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the team 

• This role can help springboard your career in people operations and allow you to grow in many different directions. You do not need to have formal training, but we will ask you to speak to how your background has prepared you for the work you’ll be doing as a member of the People Operations team. Translatable backgrounds that might be successful include organizational psychology and/or design, DEIB, human resources, social justice, business management, program management, project management, or a similar mix of training and experience that you think will make you successful on our team.

• You have the desire to be a part of our fast-paced, dynamic People Operations team and champion Favor’s people-first culture 
• You have a passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
• You have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• You have proficiency in GSuite applications
• You are innovative and have a creative approach to problem solving 
• You can build rapport and work collaboratively with others on a team
• You are curious, thorough, and eager to dive into the details, ask questions, and contribute to the team
