The Personal Care Aide assists with patient care throughout nursing areas under the direction of licensed personnel.

- Assists patient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents accordingly. Assists patient with feeding and/or meals as assigned and documents accordingly. Assists patient with elimination needs as is appropriate and documents accordingly.
- Assists in discharge process of patients to include: transport, packing of personal belongings, and assistance with hygiene needs as requested. Provides for safe transport of patients through the institution. Appropriate measures are taken to escort patients into and out of the facility.
