Job responsibilities

• Read landscape design|construction plans and lay out a project accordingly
• Sequence the order of operations for each landscape project from its initial demolition to final polishing
• Accurately assess the skills of the crew and delegate tasks accordingly
• Construct various hardscape elements such as retaining walls, patios, and pathways
• Install various softscape elements such as trees, shrubs, and turfgrass

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in management of landscape maintenance work or estimating OR a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering or similar study OR associate’s degree in a related field.

• Proficiency with landscape construction equipment (i.e., mini-ex, skid steer) and pulling trailers
• Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors, especially during hot and cold weather conditions
• Strength, stamina, mobility, and ability to carry 80 pounds
• Ability to access and navigate our bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other areas of our facilities
