Father Flanagan's Boys' Home is Hiring a Remote Instructional Technology Coordinator

Collaborates with the Instructional Technology Coach, the IT department and school faculty, to enhance student learning experiences through effective technology integration into the curriculum. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Works closely with the Instructional Technology Coach to ensure seamless integration of technology into classroom instruction and support students in utilizing technology to improve engagement and achievement. Facilitates the distribution of computers to new students and ensures proper documentation. Organize the retrieval of computers from students who are transferring or graduating. Troubleshoots technical issues for students and teachers, offering timely assistance and solutions. Submit IT support requests (tickets) as needed. Maintains student information systems and ensures data accuracy and security. Systems include but are not limited to, PowerSchool, Schoology, Classlink, HMH, Savvas, Securly, and more. Works closely with IT staff, educators, and administrators to align technology initiatives with educational goals. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies/products in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork. Demonstrate strength in organization, communication skills, and efficiency in meeting deadlines. Ability to work with non-technical staff and students and translate technical content for user-based understanding. Proficient in computer hardware, software, and networking. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school community. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required. Minimum of 2 years of educational technology or instructional technology coordination experience required.
