Job Description:

As a Biro Saw Operator, you'll help create a well-stocked and well-maintained warehouse while demonstrating high efficiency. You'll process and cut ice on a daily basis, while ensuring personal safety, food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties:

• Cuts and trims slabs of ice while operating machinery safely.
• Routinely checks and maintains equipment for wear and safety.
• Ensures quality control of all products before sending to customers.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of facility.
• Ensures production standards are met and provides feedback to Managers if it is not.
• Maintains organization of warehouse and freezer
• Maintain a sense of urgency for yourself and those around you.
• Create a positive environment of collaboration and teamwork.
• Strive to be reliable and focused on tasks.

Requirements:

• Working part or all your shift in a freezer (cold weather gear provided)
• Acquire a food handlers permit within the first 30 days of employment.
• Experience with commercial production preferred.
• Communicates routinely with Management about breaks and mealtimes.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful time sensitive situations.
• Ability to receive routine feedback on performance and production.
• Looks for opportunities for growth and skill development.
• Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.) Bend, reach, push and pull repeatedly.
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Values diversity, teamwork, and work ethic.

***Saw operation experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
