Job Description:
· The Communications Specialist will support the Program Manager, Project Synergy, in collaboration with our Industrial System IT colleagues to organize, create, and support on wide variety of communication activities.
Responsibilities include:
· Define and align stakeholders on a communications strategy for Project Synergy, an enterprise transformational initiative
· Lead the development and execution of a multi-faceted communications plan to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the transformational change
· Plan, develop, and continuously implement creative content, consistent messaging and storytelling tailored to various communication platforms (written articles, video content, infographics, townhall, lunch-n-learn sessions etc.)
· Build and maintain up-to-date website content, and conduct search engine optimization to generate organic website traffic and help employees engage across various channels
· Analyze communications on a consistent basis to determine the effectiveness of communications and adjust based on metrics and feedback
· Work closely with the transformation lead and coordinate with internal subject matter experts to ensure content is aligned with the transformation objectives
· Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with functional teams
· Conduct Retro sessions with stakeholders to receive feedback on communication activities and adjust the plan accordingly
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will have the following experiences and skills:
· Proven record of establishing and successful execution of a communications strategy for a large initiative in a large organization
· Expert knowledge and experience in content creation and storytelling abilities
· Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills
· Proficient in Sharepoint, Web Design, and Content Creation
· Experience using video and graphic design tools, such as Adobe illustrator and Premier Pro
· Experience with infographics and data visualization a plus
· Ability to quickly understand business requirements and work in a fast-paced, agile environment and delivering value in iterations
· Demonstrated ability in creating dashboards, reports to report on communications activities embrace by stakeholders
· Demonstrated ability in good communication skills and stakeholder management
· Experience in coordinating, organizing, and hosting meetings/events with various IT teams
· Detail-oriented, with excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
· Inclusive style with the ability to collaborate and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization
· Be able to work cross-functionally, in a matrixed environment and have experience in a large multi-national company
· Be able to work independently and develop a point of view and recommend to Program Manager
· Most importantly, the successful candidate will exhibit the behaviors and work diligently and ethically each day to help achieve success of the plan
Experience Required:
· 15-20 years’ experience Enterprise Wide Program Management Communication Strategy / Specialist
