FASTSIGNS® OF ERIE, PA is Hiring a Fabricator Near Erie, PA

In the sign business, we get to build some amazing things. FASTSIGNS of Erie is looking for a talented addition to our Fabrication Team. Fabricators are responsible for some of our most intricate and high quality work. FASTSIGNS strives for high quality output from our Fabrication team, so the person we are looking for would share the same goal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This person will be required to follow drawings and tasks handed over by our Project Managers and make the drawings come to life. This is a job that will require some computer use, and communication is a key part to being on our team. Each Fabrication Team member strives to be able to handle any step of a project while it on the task list. Every skill in our company is learnable and we encourage training and education.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Positive attitude with team
  • Read and Write English
  • Ability to read and follow schematics and drawings
  • Problem Solving and outside the box thinking
  • Comfortable in handling and working with hand tools
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Willingness to learn new skills and improve capabilities
  • Have a detail oriented work ethic, always concerned about the 
  • Able to Safely operate saws, cutters, and other sharp tools
  • Able to wire simple lighting setups or willing to learn
  • Willing to work overtime when deadlines require it

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Welding
  • Prior fabricating experience
  • Experience with CNC Routers
  • Previous Sign making experience
  • Painting
