Job Posting: Automotive Service CashierCompany: Kennedy Tire & Auto ServiceLocation: Edmond, OKPosition Type: Part-TimeHours: M/W/F: 8-6 (1 hour lunch included), M/W: 8-6 Sa: 8-4 (Schedule will rotate weekly)Hours will average 26-30 per week
About Us:Kennedy Tire & Auto Service is a well-established automotive service center dedicated to providing exceptional automotive maintenance and repair services to our valued customers. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we have built a strong reputation in the community. We are now seeking a reliable and customer-focused Automotive Service Cashier to join our team.Position Overview:As an Automotive Service Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service center. You will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with administrative tasks related to the service department.Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Process customer payments for automotive services and parts accurately.
Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions securely.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized cashier's area.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer software, including point-of-sale systems.
Knowledge of automotive services and parts is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must be punctual and reliable.

Compensation: $14-$15/hrBenefits:

Weekly Pay on Friday
3 Day Work Week
Hours M/W/F: 8-6, M/W: 8-6 Sa: 8-4
(7) Paid Holidays – New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
