Content Syndication Support
Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN - Indianapolis, IN or Greensboro, NC
Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Content Syndication Support, you be assisting in the onboarding of supplier product information into Fastenal's own platform to be optimized for use in all downstream systems. You will be working with other Content Syndication Specialists and our Product Information Management team to help onboard and enrich product from our supplier partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Assisting with new product onboarding, product changes, and product discontinuations through regular data feeds, portals, or other publishing methods
o Assisting with daily tasks individually or on behalf of group of Content Syndication Specialists
o Supporting the department with large content clean-up projects
o Helping maintain data integrity and consistency within current processes
o Helping drive improvement opportunities across like suppliers by identifying gaps in product data and/or assets
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Data, Project Management or a related field of study OR have administrative/customer service work experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Willingness to travel, as needed
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Knowledge of 3rd party syndication tools and programs or other PIM (Product Information Management) platforms
