Responsibilities

In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Senior Product Owner is responsible for helping to drive product strategy and translate requirements into software solutions. To be successful, the Senior Product Owner is required to work independently and collaborate with a diverse agile team including software engineers, QA engineers, and functions such as clinical innovation and operations.

Below, we have provided a high level view of what the role entails, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.

  • Member of the Agile Scrum team(s).
  • Identify, implement and manage agile processes to ensure the creation of high-quality products that meet the organization’s needs.
  • Work with business owners and leadership to build the vision for the team’s products.
  • Creating a product roadmap based on this vision.
  • Manage the delivery team’s backlog, work prioritization, assignment, and tracking in Azure DevOps.
  • Defines sprints and creates/accepts user stories.
  • Establishes story acceptance criteria and accepts stories into the baseline.
  • Tracks progress toward the release of a product and confirm user stories as Done.
  • Conduct interviews, and requirements workshops with a cross-discipline team to elicit an understanding of business needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, to drive a solution that meets the program-level objectives and vision.
  • Contribute to QA test cases and participate in UAT.
  • Interface with cross-functional team on relevant product documentation and training material.
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
  • Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training.

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Mathematics, Public Health, or a related field

Or

  • 5 Years of relevant work experience

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, 3 years working in the healthcare industry.
  • Solid experience in Scrum Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework
  • Experience in writing requirements functional and technical (features/story authoring)
  • Proficient skills in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Preferred experience in the following areas:
    • Domain expertise in EMR & Care Management platforms
    • Requirements / AGILE Tools: JIRA or Azure DevOps

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree Required, Master Degree Preferred
