We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager at Farwest Corrosion Control, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and management of our cathodic protection and corrosion control product portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support and ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Product Strategy: Work with Farwest’s executive leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape while integrating insights from the Voice of the Customer (VoC).
· Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, assess market trends, and analyze competitor offerings. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product positioning and differentiation.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration across departments, particularly between R&D, sales, customer service and marketing to ensure education, alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
· Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and gather feedback through various channels. Translate customer insights into actionable strategies for product improvement and development.
· Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify client needs, participate in client meetings to provide product expertise, and gather feedback to inform product enhancements and future developments.
· Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to launch. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and other teams to ensure timely and successful product releases and incorporate customer-driven product stories.
· Product Launch and Promotion: Plan and execute successful product launches, including coordinating marketing campaigns, sales training, and customer communication, leveraging compelling product stories to engage and captivate audiences.
· Product Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product improvements, continuously refining the product narrative based on real-world usage and customer experiences.
