 Job Description:

Successful applicants will learn and master the “Farview Way” of creating award winning meat products including jerky, meat sticks, summer sausage and other specialty smoked meats as well as cutting fresh retail cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment for processing and packaging our meat products
• Follow all sanitation policy set by Farview Farms and USDA
• Work directly with customers in-person, over the phone and by email
• Organize daily tasks and coordinate with teammates for efficiency
• Keep product and food safety records

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work on feet for an 8 hour shift
• Must be present and on-time for scheduled shifts
• Must possess a “can-do” attitude
• Must be open to constructive criticism

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food processing
• HACCP experience
• Learner’s mind-set
