Cargo Freight Builder Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move cargo shipments within the warehouse
• Maintain inventory of products
• Inspect cargo for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming pallets or containers
• Build pallets and containers for shipping
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• Will be required to learn to drive a forklift

Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to build and tie up pallets
• Forklift Experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30-50lbs and on occasion 70lbs with some assistance.
• High school diploma preferred
• Valid Driver’s License highly preferred but not required.
• Work experience in a warehouse setting required.
• Previous knowledge of building pallets and containers for airlines is required.
• Must have knowledge of dangerous goods shipments.
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Must be able to pass a background check with U.S. Customs and Immigration.
