JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Recovery Peer Advocate position provides person centered, strength focused services delivered by an individual credentialed as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) to work with peers in the office and community-based setting providing recovery peer and HCBS services. The Recovery Peer Advocate will provide peer-to-peer support, advocacy,
resource information and self-help services as part of a multi-disciplinary team to clients with substance abuse problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. The position is for an individual who has lived experience with, or knowledge of, the needs of those diagnosed with substance abuse and how to assist them with accessing community
resources.
