Irving A Robbins Middle School seeking Full-Time School Counselor for 2022-2023
Requirements for the successful candidate:
-certified as a CT School Counselor (068)
-demonstrated flexibility, organization, leadership and communication skills
-team-oriented; willing to work closely with the School Counseling Department
-collaborative in working with various stakeholder groups

• able to build positive relationships with students, parents and school community

-willing to meet annually with each student/parent on caseload for an individual planning meeting
-willing to work with and plan for struggling students to meet with academic success

• skilled in providing individual and group counseling, including crisis intervention, to remove barriers to academic success

-responsibilities/skills as determined by superintendent or designee

Salary: $49,020-$106,429 depending upon education and experience
