Farmington Dental Studio is Hiring a Lead Dental Assistant Near Farmington, MI

Are you a skilled dental assistant with a passion for patient care and team leadership? Look no further because Farmington Dental Studio wants to hire you!

About Us

At Farmington Dental Studio, we are committed to providing our patients with exceptional dental care while making our patients feel welcome and relaxed. We are a private practice with periodontic and oral surgery specialists. We use Open Dental software and Dexis.

Essential Duties

  • Set up and sterilization of treatment rooms and instruments
  • Assist the doctor in all aspects of chairside assisting including oral surgery and periodontics
  • Proficiency in taking x-rays and intraoral photos using Dexis software and iTero.
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Educate patients on treatment recommendations and provide instructions for oral care following dental procedures
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Supervise preventative maintenance of dental equipment
  • Keep room clean and well-stocked
  • Lead and supervise dental assistants to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
  • Assist in the management of inventory and ordering of dental supplies
  • Ability to successfully multitask with strong attention to detail
  • Adherence to HIPPA and OSHA standards

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods

Current office hours are Monday 9-7, Tuesday 9-5, Wednesday 9-7, Thursday 9-5, and every other Saturday 9-2. Compensation is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
