Job Title: Practice Facility Concierge

Department: Golf Shop

Reports To: Director of Instruction

Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting members and guests to enjoy their experience at the Club’s golf practice facility. Responsible for maintaining the driving range tee, short game practice area, and range ball service area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Starter/Player Assistants and professional staff at the practice facility.
• Perform practice facility opening and closing duties.
• Move hitting stations and change distance markers on driving range daily.
• Maintain the driving range tee and short game practice area throughout the day, including picking up practice balls on the short game area, refilling baskets of range balls, picking up empty baskets, and changing water in the club cleaner.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized range ball service area.
• Ensure that the beverage cart is properly stocked on a daily basis.
• Transport the beverage cart to the range in the morning and return it at the end of the day.
• Ensure proper functioning and availability of video equipment used for teaching by golf professionals.
• Maintain the proper inventory of beverages and snacks; maintain accurate records for member charges.
• Track and charge member and guest range usage fees.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• A valid Virginia driver’s license.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
