Maintenance Worker I

The Maintenance Worker/Groundskeeper position encompasses a variety of duties. This position includes coverage of 600 acres of common area, fruit groves, pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, ponds, etc. Uniforms and boots are provided by the employer.

The job calls for working outdoors in inclement weather and these duties may include but are not limited to the following: lifting 50 lbs. or more, climbing ladders, digging ditches, tree cutting, pruning, weed abatement which includes pulling weeds and using gardening equipment. Setting up and taking down the tables and chairs for event set up along with janitorial work. Bilingual employee preferred.

As the employee becomes more familiar with the Farm Property Owners Association, other duties may be added, such as depending on your skillset in carpentry, sprinkler systems, pool care, pest control, and large equipment operation. Some of these jobs will be on-the-job training (OJT) or attending classes for certification.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
