Farm Credit Services of Mandan is hiring a full-time Loan Accountant in our Mandan Corporate office.

This position is responsible for the processing of loan and related services transactions, performing required maintenance, managing cash management functions, updating pricing files, and providing accounting information and support to employees throughout the association.

Indicators of Success

Major/Essential Responsibilities

• Complete daily cash management functions and reconcile cash clearing accounts; monitor and record payments for miscellaneous receivables.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, ACH transactions, and credit card payments.
• Review financial and maintenance reports, process payment corrections, refinances, and unposted transactions, reconcile loan and cash clearing accounts daily.
• Maintain related services transactions by resolving unposted transactions, monitoring and reporting past due information to appropriate personnel, reconciling accounts and working with branch personnel and insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely billing, premium payment, and recording of commissions.
• Communicate with various staff answering questions on loan product rates, MPCI, hail and life insurance, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• One-year related experience preferred
• An acceptable combination of education and experience
