Farm Bureau is Hiring a District Manager Near Caldwell, ID

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Manager to join our team. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for assigning, managing, and directing all work performed in the district. Hire and develop agencies and their staff to foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction for the purpose of securing and maintaining application of all lines of insurance offered by the Companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals.
  • Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because external industry and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Decision-making is focused on implementing practical, timely solutions.
  • The position requires getting things done quickly and handling a variety of activities. Self-assurance and the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly problem-solving and engaging the commitment of others is essential. The emphasis is on results and effective systems that achieve results through and with people, rather than on the details of implementation.
  • Leadership style that is firm and goal-oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way is important. The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style.
  • Research local market conditions and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as directed.

Education: High School diploma, College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: Two to four years of related experience required.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certificates & Licenses: Licensed by the State of Idaho in all product lines offered by the Company. FINRA series 6, 63 and 26.

Other: Standard driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
